She stood on the last ridge and stared in to the corrupt lands below her. This was it, last ridge before the test. This was it indeed, the last moment of sanity before endless nightmare that stretched miles before her. Just a small distance and it would began, madness. But will it be endless madness.....will I ever see through it. Will this be the last clear moment? Will this be the end?

As she wavered in her doubts, the sun was starting to set down.
She took her axes and stared at them for a while, like not knowing what to do with them.
After a while she discarded her axes and went...toward the madness she had feared for all her life.
